This collection celebrates the majesty of America's public lands -- our national parks, forests, grasslands, wildlife refuges, and more. It's important to do so now, as these lands are under the greatest threats in a century.
I've chosen some of the native wildlife who call these lands home to illustrate the theme. The collection will showcase 12 birds and mammals that represent public lands of our shared forests, mountains, rivers, deserts, and grasslands. The images shown here illustrate a few of the animals that will decorate the chocolates. As usual, there will be more about them in the booklet that accompanies the collection.
The upcoming flavors? Well, there will be six of them, but I haven't gotten much further than that! They will certainly showcase the tremendous chocolate couverture I have from cacao grown in South and Central America. You'll have to wait and see, but as usual, there will be six bonbon varieties—two of each flavor for a total of twelve in a box—some featuring praliné, some ganaches, some with fruit.
A few key notes:
- This collection should ship in late October. With luck, there will be no hot weather issues; it's certainly pleasant weather in New Hampshire right now.
- If sending boxes as gifts to multiple addresses, please place each as a separate order.
- Please type text for gift notes in the special instructions box that appears at checkout. As the box seems not to appear when using quick checkouts (e.g. ApplePay), just email me with the note.
- Free local pick-up is an option at checkout; if applicable, you'll get an email notification in October when the chocolates are ready.
