It's March, and that means Spring is just around the corner!

What better way to welcome Spring than through fine chocolates celebrating the return of migratory songbirds to North America—in this case, the stunning family of New World warblers. While a few species overwinter in the southern US, most spend their winters in South and Central America and then return north to breed. Their return is a marvelous spectacle.

This collection will showcase 12 beautiful warbler species, including the Chestnut-sided Warbler shown in the photo at here. As usual, there will be more about warblers in the booklet that accompanies the chocolates.

I have just begun work on the designs for the warbler chocolates, a process that takes a good couple of weeks.

The upcoming flavors? Well, there will be six of them, but I haven't gotten much further than that! Appropriately, they will certainly showcase more of the tremendous chocolate couverture I have from cacao grown in South and Central America where these birds winter. And one flavor will highlight some New Mexican piñons, another, pistachios, and a third may include a bit of Cachaça I brought back from Brazil not long ago. You'll have to wait and see, but as usual, there will be six bonbon varieties—two of each flavor for a total of twelve in a box.

I should mention, this will be the final collection of this season and the last until next Fall. Too hot in the summertime!

A few key notes:

  1. This collection should ship in the first few weeks of April. As the weather warms I have to be careful about timing, since heat and chocolates don't mix.
  2. If sending boxes as gifts to multiple addresses, please place each as a separate order.
  3. Please type text for gift notes in the special instructions box that appears at checkout (or email me with the note).
  4. Free local pick-up is now an option at checkout; if applicable, you'll get an email notification in April when the chocolates are ready.

Don't miss out!
